Community Access in the Age of Corona

Since March and the onset of the COVID pandemic, many of us in Albuquerque, New Mexico and around the world are housebound. For those of us at higher risk, like persons with disabilities, many of our opportunities to connect with our community and the world around us are now very limited. Many of us used to attend day programs and community events. We spent time with friends and did interesting things. Now things are a little more complicated. Luckily for us, technology can bring us together, too. With video chat and online platforms, we can still see some of our friends and do fun things together, like learn about blogging! So wear your mask every day, so that people with disabilities can get back to their communities in person.
